Due to his clean and honest official duties, he was revered by the people as the "Duke of Shi". Emperor Kangxi (played by Li Zixiong) traveled south through Taizhou and witnessed the entire process of Duke Shi's trial of the Zang Bao case. He was amazed by his humanized handling of the case and personally bestowed the title of "the most upright official in Jiangnan"
